1. Credit card payments are subject to:
- A 3% surcharge will be applied for Visa and MasterCard transactions.
- A 4% surcharge will be applied for American Express transactions.
2. In cash to the driver upon completion of the journey or hire. If your transfer is return, please pay the total balance on arrival at your destination.

1. If a booking is cancelled by the Customer within 48 hours from the start of the period of hire, 50% of all money paid will be non-refundable
2. If a booking is cancelled by the Customer within 24 hours from the start of the period of hire, 100% of all money paid will be non-refundable
3. If the customer does not appear at the time and place designated as the pickup point, all money paid will be non-refundable.

* Whilst we do our utmost to ensure our drivers are punctual, you will understand that we cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances outwit our control.
* The driver will drive at safe and sensible speeds in accordance with road conditions, traffic and the legal speed limits.
* Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and or exterior of a vehicle on hire to them and will be billed accordingly for any repair or valeting required in order to reinstate a vehicle to working order.
* No animals are allowed in any of our vehicles.
* A delivery charge will be made if any items are left on board and they have to be returned. We cannot be held responsible for items left in the vehicle.
* We may provide subcontracted vehicles occasionally.
* We will carry 1 suitcase and 1 hand luggage per client. Any extra baggage (ex. golf clubs, surf boards, bicycles) must be disclosed on booking. We cannot be responsible to carry any extra luggage not declared.
* By supplying your email address you permit AVT to contact you via email, in return we promise never to supply your email to any third party.
* If there are any changes or variation’s including extra mileage to the journeys other than what was agreed at the time of booking, the client will be charged extras in accordance with the pricing structure on our website.
* We reserve the right to change your vehicle or chauffeur at any time if necessary.
* Every effort will be made by AVT to ensure that our vehicle(s) or Sub-Contractors vehicle(s) arrive on time.
* Please be aware vehicle colour and specifications may vary.
* Our Chauffeur(s) will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless instructed otherwise by the Customer at the time of booking.
* AVT vehicle(s) and sub-contracted vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third party claims. However, customer's properties are carried entirely at their own risk and AVT shall not be held responsible/liable for any loss/damage to such property. Passengers are advised to check their own travel insurance.
* AVT will keep a lost property book at their office, and will endeavour to return any lost goods left in our vehicle(s) or subcontracted vehicle(s) to the customer.
* AVT and its chauffeurs have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour poses a threat either to the Chauffeur, the vehicle or any other passenger(s).
* AVT maintains a strict non-smoking policy in all its vehicles. Consumption of food and drink during transfers are to the discretion of the Algarve Vintage Travel® driver.
* Baby/child safety car seats are recommended to be fitted by parents; drivers are not responsible for fitting equipment.
* AVT drivers may refuse to carry babies or children without appropriate seats.
* Online quotations do not allow for public and bank holidays like Christmas Day or New Years Eve where there may be an additional surcharge.
* A surcharge of 20% will be made for services provided (excluding extras) when a journey is from 22:00 eve until 06:00 am.
* Nothing contained in these terms and conditions can affect the Client's' statutory rights under the Laws of Portugal.

Q: How do we find the driver after arriving?
A: The drivers will meet the passengers at arrivals, outside the customs hall, inside Faro / Seville airport terminal, displaying a signboard with the wording of your choice; your name or company name and will also help with any luggage. The arrivals hall may be very crowded at times, therefore if you cannot locate your driver, please contact us immediately on +351 965 090 469, so we can call the driver and arrange an easy meeting point for you in the terminal.
Q: What if my flight is delayed?
A: Don’t worry; all flight arrival times are checked with the airline before our drivers leave for the airport. Should you arrive early or late there will still be a driver to meet you at no extra cost.
Q: How long will a driver wait for us to clear customs?
A: The driver will normally wait up to 60 minutes before making enquiries with the airline, 'lost and found' or immigration and will eventually make a 'page' call to meet the passenger at the airport meeting point. The driver will only leave the airport after these procedures have been made. If one is delayed in customs or with luggage for more than 30 minutes after arrival please call +351 965 090 469 to ensure that the driver will wait for you.

A: Yes, we provide child seats and booster seats at no charge. It must be disclosed on booking.
Q: What about full access for passengers with disabilities?
